North Carolina is holding their annual pro day on Tuesday and Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert is reportedly there observing it, according to Joe Marino on Twitter.
As you can see below, #Steelers quarterbacks coach Randy Fichtner is also present.
North Carolina has several draftable players this year and leading the list is quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who figures to be selected somewhere in the first two rounds. Defensive lineman Nazair Jones, wifde receivers Ryan Switzer, Mack Hollins, and Bug Howard, cornerback Des Lawrence and running backs T.J. Logan and Elijah Hood are a few more former North Carolina players who could wind up hearing their names called during the 2017 NFL Draft.
Trubisky, who measured in at the 2017 NFL scouting Combine at 6021, 222-pounds, completed 304 passes last season for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns. He was only intercepted six times in his lone season as a full-time starter.
As for Jones, who measured in at the combine at 6051, 304-pounds, he recorded 145 total tackles in the 35 games he played in while at North Carolina. He also had five sacks and 10 pass breakups to go along with 21 total tackles for loss. Jones figures to be a day-two selection at the earliest.
Switzer, who measured in at the combine at 5084, 181-pounds, caught 96 passes last season for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns. In his four seasons at North Carolina the under-sized Switzer caught 244 passes for 2,907 yards and 19 touchdowns.
