Steelers-Jaguars Will Be Broadcast To Majority Of Country In Early Window

Sitting at 4-2 on the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers return home to Acrisure Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. on Sunday in a matchup of two rather strong AFC teams.

Though it’s not considered a true national game — that distinction belongs to Tampa Bay at Buffalo on Thursday night, Chicago at Los Angeles on Sunday Night, and Las Vegas at Detroit on Monday night — the Steelers-Jaguars matchup will be broadcast to a majority of the country in the 1 p.m. window on Sunday, according to 506sports.com.

The matchup between the Steelers and Jaguars, which will be broadcast on CBS and feature the announcing team of Ian Eagle, Charles Davis and Evan Washburn, dominates the early window on CBS, which also features the New York Jets-New York Giants matchup, the New England Patriots-Miami Dolphins matchup, and the Atlanta Falcons-Tennessee Titans matchup.

Outside of those larger coverage areas of the other three games, viewers across the country will see Steelers-Jaguars.

The last time the Steelers and Jaguars squared off against each other was Nov. 22, 2020, a game that the Steelers won 27-3 on the road. The Jaguars hold an edge in the all-time matchup with a 14-13 record.

On FOX in the 1 p.m. window, viewers across the country will see a heavy dose of the Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys or Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers.

The CBS late window will be split between Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals at San Francisco 49ers. The Pittsburgh area, unsurprisingly, will see Bengals at 49ers. The FOX late window will see limited viewing for Cleveland Browns at Seattle Seahawks, with broadcast coverage restricted to the Pacific Northwest and the greater Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas.
