The Buffalo Bills have now released their first injury report of Week 15 ahead of their Sunday night road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Wednesday offering includes a few names of notable defensive players.
Not practicing for the Bills on Wednesday were linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (rest), defensive end Jerry Hughes (rest), defensive tackle Corey Liuget (knee) and tackle Ty Nsekhe (ankle).
Alexander and Hughes were obviously just given days off on Wednesday and thus the two players should be expected to resume practicing fully on Thursday. As for Liuget, it will be interesting to see if he can overcome his recent knee injury by the weekend.
Nsekhe hasn’t played since Week 11 so odds are good he’ll ultimately miss the Sunday game against the Steelers with his ankle injury. That should result in tackle Cody Ford getting the start again on the right side Sunday night in Pittsburgh.
