The Pittsburgh Steelers Friday practice is now over with and the team’s second injury report of Week 4 has been released and it shows a few positive developments for a few players.
Not practicing on Friday for the Steelers were fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee), outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo (foot), inside linebacker Vince Williams (hamstring), tight end Vance McDonald (shoulder), and guard Ramon Foster (not injury related).
Nix has already been ruled out for the team’s Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals and it’s looking like Chickillo and Williams will miss that contest as well. Saturday figures to be a key day for McDonald and at best he’ll end the week listed as questionable for the Monday night game. Foster was added on Friday after being given his normal veteran day off.
After sitting out the team’s Thursday practice, inside linebacker Mark Barron (not injury related), cornerback Joe Haden (shoulder) and center Maurkice Pouncey (not injury related) all practiced fully on Friday as expected.
Limited again on Friday for the Steelers was outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott (hamstring) and it will be interesting to see if he is able to practice on Saturday and ultimately play on special teams Monday night
