Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers will be able to watch three of the team’s four preseason games this year live on national television.
According to a Monday morning new releases from the NFL. the NFL Network is now scheduled to broadcast the Steelers first two preseason games of 2019 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs live on Friday, Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 17, respectively. Both games will take place at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh and kickoff time for both games is scheduled to be 7:30 p.m.
As previously reported, the Steelers third preseason game of 2019 against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on August 25 that will also be shown live on NBC Sunday Night Football at 7 p.m. That game is expected to be the annual tuneup game for the Steelers and thus many of the team’s healthy starters on both offense and defense should see extended amounts of playing time in that contest.
As for the Steelers 2019 preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers, that game will air in the local viewing area on KDKA-TV and can also be viewed online via an NFL Gamepass subscription. As usual, the NFL Network will replay all 65 preseason games of 2019 during each week as well.
