Just when you thought you couldn’t like JuJu Smith-Schuster anymore, he goes out and proves you wrong. Already the biggest fan favorite on the entire team, just check out the fan reaction from training camp last year (he got louder cheers than Ben Roethlisberger or Antonio Brown), he put on a party for the city Saturday afternoon.
Smith-Schuster arranged a water balloon fight in Donaldson Park.
That included other games too. Here he is playing dodgeball.
But he didn’t stop there. According to Ray Fittipaldo, JuJu also paid for all the food, too and then paid winners of the dodgeball game. Everyone who attended didn’t have to spend a dime this afternoon.
He talked with WPXI’s Chase Williams as to why he set the whole event up.
“I have the money to do it,” he said. “I’m not doing it not just because it’s for my foundation or something. It’s just because I wanted to do it. It’s out of my free spirit. Everything out here is free. Have a fun time, enjoy yourself.”
