The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills have both released their lists of inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at New Era Field.
On Friday, the Steelers ruled out wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot) and safety Shamarko Thomas (concussion) and those two players head the team’s Week 14 inactive list. Despite ending the week listed as questionable, running back DeAngelo Williams is also one of the Steelers seven inactive players.
After ending the week listed as doubtful with a concussion, rookie defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is also inactive for Sunday’s game against the Bills. The same goes for guard Ramon Foster and that means B.J. Finney will get the start at left guard. Foster being inactive also results in tackle Brian Mihalik getting a helmet.
With Hargrave sidelined, Ricardo Mathews and Daniel McCullers will see significant playing time on Sunday with L.T. Walton also likely to get some snaps on defense.
The Steelers will carry two kickers against the Bills as Chris Boswell and Randy Bullock are both active. Zach Mettenberger and Daryl Richardson are two healthy scratches for the Steelers.
For the Bills, starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams is inactive.
