The Miami Dolphins will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and their first injury report of the week that was released on Wednesday includes several names on it.
Not practicing for the Dolphins on Wednesday were safety Reshad Jones (groin), cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) and tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion).
Several early reports indicated that Cameron won’t be ready to play by Sunday as he has missed the last two games with a concussion. Should Jones wind up missing Sunday’s game it would a huge loss for the Dolphins as he’s regarded as being their best player in their secondary.
Limited on Wednesday for the Dolphins were safety Isa Abdul-Quddus (knee), linebacker Jelani Jenkins (groin), running back Arian Foster (hamstring), guard Anthony Steen (ankle), guard Laremy Tunsil (anklle) and tight end Marqueis Gray (calf).
The early speculation is that Foster and Tunsil should both be able to play Sunday against the Steelers. Foster, however, who hasn’t played since Week 3, wasn’t ready to proclaim himself ready for game action on Wednesday even though he was able to practice on a limited basis.
In other injury news for the Dolphins, wide receiver Jakeem Grant (ankle) practiced fully on Wednesday.
