The Washington Redskins have now wrapped up their Friday practice ahead of Monday night’s regular season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their latest updated injury report includes one new name on it.
Tackle Ty Nsekhe (illness) was added to the Redskins injury report on Friday after failing to practice because of an illness.
Rookie wide receiver Josh Doctson (Achilles) and defensive end Kendall Reyes (groin) were both limited once again on Friday and thus it’s starting to look like both might be inactive Monday night against the Steelers.
Practicing fully again on Friday were running back Matt Jones (shoulder) and guard Spencer Long (ankle). Jones is expected to start at running back for the Redskins Monday night and it will be his first action in a game since he suffered a separated shoulder during the preseason.
The Redskins will release one final injury report on Saturday afternoon.
