If you are a fan of all things Pittsburgh sports, it’s been a great Sunday so far.
Earlier in the day the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 in their 2016 season opener and at the time of this post, the Pittsburgh Penguins are beating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 early in the third period and former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller just so happens to be in attendance for that game with his wife.
During a break in the action at the Consol Energy Center, the cameras focused in on the Millers and the crowd let out an appropriate “Heeeeeeathhhhhhhhhhhh” cheer. Miller then reciprocated with a short wave in appreciation.
Miller retired from the Steelers several weeks ago after playing all 11 years of his career in Pittsburgh and recently let it be known in an interview that he and his family will eventually be moving back to Virginia in the near future.
