Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones has a lot of free time on his hands now that his team was eliminated from the playoffs Saturday night by the Pittsburgh Steelers and he had a few more interesting things to say in a recent interview with Brandon Marshall on Inside the NFL, which is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday on Showtime.
In the teaser clip that you can see below, Jones tells Marshall that he will apologize for saying Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown faked his injury late in the game against the Bengals if he doesn’t wind up playing Sunday against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Playoff game.
Jones has already accused Brown of flopping after being hit in the head by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and has since said the Steelers wide receiver deserves a Grammy for his performance.
Brown is still going through the concussion protocol as of Tuesday morning, however, several local beat writers believe he’ll play against the Broncos.
Jones also said he still doesn’t believe Burfict’s hit on Brown was dirty.
