The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 33-20 Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium and they suffered a few minor injuries during the game that don’t appear to be serious in nature.
According to head coach Mike Tomlin, safety Mike Mitchell suffered a minor shoulder injury in Sunday’s win while rookie outside linebacker Bud Dupree suffered a possible lower back injury.
“Both guys should be OK, they just will probably be management things at the early portions of next week,” said Tomlin.
Tomlin said all of the other injuries are just minor bumps and bruises associated with playing football.
During the Sunday’s game, tackle Alejandro Villanueva left the game briefly with what was later described as an illness. He was able to return for the Steelers next offensive series.
The Steelers will play the Denver Broncos next Sunday at Heinz Field.
