Even though they’re currently the No. 7 seed in the AFC and on the outside looking in heading into Week 17 of the 2015 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers still have better odds to win Super Bowl 50 than the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets all do.
According to the latest Super Bowl odds released Tuesday morning by the Las Vegas Super Book, the Steelers are 12/1 odds to win their 7th Lombardi Trophy even though they lost in Week 16 to the Baltimore Ravens and now need help in Week 17 just to make it into the postseason tournament.
The Steelers, as you should all know by now, must beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and hope the Buffalo Bills can upset the Jets on the road. Should those two things transpire, the Steelers will be the No. 6 seed in the AFC to close out the regular season and will then play the either the Bengals, Chiefs or Denver Broncos on the road in one of the two Wild Card games.
The Steelers are currently double-digit favorites to beat the Browns Sunday on the road after initially opening as 9.5-point favorites. The Jets, on the other hand, are now 3-point road favorites over the Bills. New York has also won their last 5 games, however, they did lose to Buffalo 22-17 back in Week 10. The Bills will be looking to close out their 2015 season with back-to-back wins which would result in an 8-8 record for first-year head coach Rex Ryan.
