The 2015 NFL season is finally here as the action kicks off Thursday night with the New England Patriots hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC.
As I do every year, below are my record and playoff predictions for the 2015 season, but first, have a little fun by looking at my predictions from last season.
This season really hard to bet against the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys all making the playoffs. The AFC North and NFC West divisions should be fun to watch play out again this year. I have one team coming out of the former and a whopping three coming out of the latter. I think the St. Louis Rams will surprise a lot of people this year and their defense will play a big role in that.
Some other surprises? I have the Philadelphia Eagles missing the playoffs this year. Additionally, I have the Buffalo Bills sneaking in as a Wild Card on the AFC side.
As for the Steelers in 2015, I have them winning one playoff game before bowing out to the Broncos in the Divisional Round.
I don’t believe there will be a Super Bowl rematch from last year as I have the Colts and Cowboys meeting in the big game. That would figure to be a great matchup and I have the Colts winning it all with Andrew Luck.
I’m bound to be way off on a few of these records once again, so let me know in the comments which teams you think I am giving too much respect to and which teams I have underrated. Provide your own Super Bowl predictions as well in the comments.
