Another former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback has found a new home this week as Shaquille Richardson has reportedly signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Richardson, who was drafted last year by the Steelers in the fifth-round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Arizona, started the 2014 season on the team’s practice squad after failing to make the 53 man roster out of training camp.
After being placed on the Steelers practice squad injured reserve list this past October with an unspecified injury, Richardson was soon waived with an injury settlement less than a week later.
Earlier this week former Steelers cornerback Curtis Brown signed with the New York Jets.
