By the looks of the Thursday injury report, the Houston Texans might not get their rookie linebacker back for the Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field
Rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee), who has been sidelined since the season opener, did not participate in practice Thursday and there’s already speculation that he won’t suit up Monday night. Even if Clowney were to play, his snaps would likely be limited.
Also not practicing Thursday were linebacker Brian Cushing (knee), cornerback Darryl Morris (ankle) and linebacker Brooks Reed (groin).
Limited on Thursday were running back Arian Foster (groin), wide receiver Andre Johnson (ankle), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (knee), linebacker Mike Mohamed (calf) and linebacker Jeff Tarpinian (knee).
Practicing fully Thursday for the Texans were guard Brandon Brooks (illness), wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hand), defensive end Tim Jamison (groin), tackle Derek Newton (elbow) and defensive end J.J. Watt (thigh).
