Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-23 victory over the Houston Texans Monday night, oddsmakers have installed the Indianapolis Colts as 1.5 point favorites over them in the game scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday.
The Colts have won five straight games since opening the season with back to back losses to the Denver Broncos and the Philadelphia Eagles and their currently are coming off of a game in which they shut out the Cincinnati Bengals 27-0.
Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has completed 65.9% of the passes he’s thrown so far this season to go along with 19 touchdown passes. He’s also only thrown seven interceptions on the year and been sacked 11 times in total.
As a team, the Colts have averaged 30.9 points per game this season and that ranks them second in the league. We can probably expect this line to grow some come kickoff Sunday afternoon.
