The Pittsburgh Steelers made a few roster moves Monday in preparation for their Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Waived injured was guard Bryant Browning, who suffered a dislocated shoulder in the Saturday night game against the Buffalo Bills. Also waived was wide receiver James Shaw, who hadn’t been with the team long.
Signed to the roster were offensive lineman Graham Pocic and cornerback Dayonne Nunley.
Pocic entered the league originally as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois with the St. Louis Rams. A shoulder injury, however, ended his rookie season and he was ultimately waived by the Rams back in May. The Chicago Bears signed Pocic at then end of July, but released him just over a week ago.
Nunley is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Miami (Ohio). He participated in the Steelers 2014 rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis.
