The Pittsburgh Steelers lost 10-0 to the Carolina Panthers Thursday night in their preseason finale, but some good news surfaced after the game.
According to Adam Crowley of Steelers Nation Radio, long snapper Greg Warren told him after the game that he’s been cleared to play after suffering a meniscus injury a few weeks ago and that he will suit up and play in the regular season opener a week from Sunday at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns.
Just spoke with Greg Warren. Cleared to play and will suit up against the Browns. #steelers

Warren injured his knee in one of the scrimmages against the Buffalo Bills to close out training camp.
This is great news as it means the Steelers will not have to carry two long snappers on their 53 man roster to start the season.
