Could Pittsburgh Steelers unrestricted free agent safety Ryan Clark really wind up with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014? According to Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports, it’s a possibility.
Pelissero reported Monday on Twitter that he recently talked to Clark and the veteran safety told him that not only are the Ravens interested in him, but the New York Jets as well.
Pelissero goes on to say that Clark’s agent is still in negotiations with the Washington Redskins as well. According to earlier reports, Clark’s asking price was too high for the Redskins.
As for the Ravens, they could use some depth at safety as they might lose unrestricted free agent James Ihedigbo during the offseason. Matt Elam started for the Ravens last season at free safety, but the team reportedly would like to move him to strong safety in 2014.
