The Pittsburgh Steelers practiced on Tuesday this week so that they could have Christmas off and as a result of that, the first injury report of the week that was provided to the league on Wednesday is only an estimated report.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee), safety Troy Polamalu (not injury related), defensive end Brett Keisel (foot), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related), linebacker Jason Worilds (abdominal) and linebacker Terence Garvin (knee) were all listed as not able to practice had a practice taken place.
Sanders suffered a lateral meniscus injury this past Sunday and he hopes to play this coming weekend against the Cleveland Browns. Garvin suffered a knee sprain and like Sanders, he is questionable for the Browns game to start the week.
Guard David DeCastro (back) would have been limited on Wednesday, while linebacker Jarvis Jones (illness) and wide receiver Markus Wheaton (finger) would have practiced fully.
The Steelers will resume practicing on Thursday.
