Due to injuries, the Pittsburgh Steelers were forced to make a few roster moves Tuesday.
Tight end David Johnson and tackle Levi Brown were both placed on the injured reserve list after both suffered injuries this past Sunday. Johnson dislocated his wrist early in the game against the New York Jets while Brown injured his triceps during pre-game warm-ups.
Brown had been acquired via a trade with the Arizona Cardinals during the bye week, but never played a down for the Steelers.
To fill the vacant spots on the 53 man roster, the team signed free agent tight end Richard Gordon and promoted cornerback Isaiah Green from the practice squad.
Gordon was originally drafted by Oakland Raiders in sixth round (181st overall) of 2011 NFL Draft and appeared in 27 games for them, starting two of them. He will wear No. 44.
