While many teams are wasting no time in announcing their final roster moves, the Pittsburgh Steelers will once again wait and announce theirs Saturday afternoon. Teams have until 6 p.m. eastern on Saturday to get their rosters down to 53 active players.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise and while a few names will likely leak out between now and Saturday evening, there will still be a few unknowns until the official word is released.
General manager Kevin Colbert will likely be watching the cuts that take place around the league on Friday and early Saturday with the hopes of finding a player or two that he believes can help the team. Of course so will every other team in the league.
