Below are the offensive player, play counts and participation chart for the Pittsburgh Steelers week 2 game against the New York Jets.
We are now posting the personnel groupings separate and you can see the week 2 numbers here.
Player Notes:
Running backs Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer nearly had an even split as far as snaps went as Redman received just 2 more. The snap amounts of Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders are all in the low 40 range because the Steelers used a lot less three wide receiver sets and rotated all three of them in at different times. Due to the heavy use of tight ends in the game, David Paulson saw 15 snaps on Sunday and Leonard Pope saw 27. The numbers do not add up to an even 726 in this game as one play the Steelers had only 10 players on the field. Even the official NFL Gamebook has this wrong.
