The Pittsburgh Steelers have until 4 p.m. ET Monday, Aug. 27 to trim their roster down to 75 players and that means that tonight in Buffalo against the Buffalo Bills it will be the last time that 15 players currently on the 90 man roster get to wear a Steelers jersey.
The Steelers will likely begin the process of releasing some players on Sunday as the fate of several of them have already been easily decided. Based on our weekly participation reports from the first two preseason games, it is not too hard to deduct who several of these players might be, so I have included a list below of 20 players that the 15 will likely be chosen from.
The remaining 75 players on the roster must then be trimmed down to 53 by 9 p.m. Aug. 31, one day after the Steelers final preseason game at home against the Carolina Panthers.
