I have speculated for a long time that if indeed Willie Colon were to be re-signed by the Steelers, that there could be a chance he kicks inside to right guard. Most did not take my prediction as one that would hold water, but it certainly makes sense. Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac tried to squash the talk of a move to guard by Colon this offseason and even stated back in May, Dulac stated it was not going to happen and that we will see cheerleaders on the sideline at Heinz Field before Colon is moved to guard in the offense.
I took Dulac to task right after his May post and defended my thoughts of Colon moving to guard. Fast forward to today and now Dulac is changing his tune. Dulac think the Steelers could indeed still re-sign tackle Flozell Adams instead of Max Starks and that it is now possible the Steelers could move Colon to right guard.
Well, I hope Dulac gets that Steelers cheerleader uniform out of his closet as it looks like he will need it when he cheers the Steelers on from the sidelines of Heinz. I hope he shaves his legs.
