The Steelers started on field practice preparations for the Sunday week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday. Not practicing were WR Antonio Brown (knee), TE Matt Spaeth (concussion), S Troy Polamalu (ankle) and DE Aaron Smith (triceps). Smith is of course already ruled out for this week. Spaeth and Polamalu are expected to practice later this week, while Brown is day-to-day. DE Brett Keisel and S Will Allen practiced fully on Wednesday and neither is listed on the injury report.
For the Bills injury wise, OL Demetrius Bell (knee), LB Keith Ellison (knee), DE Spencer Johnson (hamstring), LB Chris Kelsay (knee), CB Terrence McGee (knee), LB Shawne Merriman (calf/Achilles), RB C.J. Spiller (hamstring), NT Kyle Williams (ankle) and G Eric Wood (ankle) all sat out on Wednesday. Williams and Spencer Johnson were riding the stationary bikes and McGee left practice mid way through. Spiller and Wood have an outside chance of being ready on Sunday.
