In addition to signing two more of their draft picks on Thursday the Pittsburgh Steelers also made one other minor transaction.
According to Thursday’s official NFL transaction report, the Steelers waived wide receiver Dez Stewart from their Reserve/Injured list with an injury settlement.
Stewart, who was waived injured last Friday, reverted back to the team’s Reserve/Injured list after clearing waivers. He was originally signed to a futures contract by the Steelers this past January.
Stewart originally entered the league with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio Dominican in May of 2016 and has since been with the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers prior to signing with the Steelers.
