Season 13, Episode 110 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers recent addition of Glenn Thomas as the team’s new offensive assistant. We also talk a little about his link to quarterback Kenny Pickett.
The Steelers also have finally formerly announced Gerald Alexander as the team’s assistant defensive backs coach after he was apparently on the staff last season. We address that development and how we missed him in 2022.
The Steelers 2023 pre-draft visitor list continues to grow so Alex and I recap who all has visited with the team, or is planning to visit. We look at the overall list to date in totality once again as well.
Some numbers related to the contract signed by new Steelers safety Keanu Neal have been reported so Alex and I quickly go over those. We also discuss the formal announcement from Tuesday of four recent players who have inked deals this offseason.
The Steelers are almost surely going to restructure the contract of outside linebacker T.J. Watt at some point this offseason so Alex and I discuss what that might look like. We also have a good conversation about the contract extension prediction I recently made for fellow Steelers outside linebacker Alex Highsmith later in this show.
We answer a few listener questions late in this show to close things out. We mix in other Steelers talk throughout this episode that is not noted in this recap post.
