Season 10, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the latest news on Pittsburgh Steelers safety Kameron Kelly, who was arrested in the last 24 hours. We discuss the potential fallout from the Kelly news in addition to talking about the team’s Thursday injury report and which players might play Sunday against the New York Jets.
The Steelers two coordinators, Randy Fichtner and Keith Butler, both talked to the media on Thursday so as usual, Alex and I go over the main talking points based on what both had to see.
With the Steelers playing the Jets on Sunday we are pleased to have Andy Vasquez from The Record and USA Today on the show to preview the Week 16 game. Andy gives us the latest on the Jets and fills us in on how their season has gone to date. We talk injuries, offensive and defensive previews heading into Sunday’s game and more. Andy is also nice enough to give us score prediction for Sunday’s game at the end of the interview. After having Andy on the show, Alex and I then give our collective game preview of the Sunday contest between the Steelers and Jets. As usual, we try to be as thorough as possible and let all know what we expect to see from both teams on both sides of the football on Sunday.
Alex and I move on to make our Week 16 NFL picks and that includes picking the final score of the Steelers game against the Jets. We also talk about the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2020 Class Centennial Slate Finalists with Steelers ties that were announced on Thursday.
Alex and I finally close out this show like we close out most episodes and that’s by answering several email questions we received from listeners.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
