The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their first injury report of Week 15 ahead of their Sunday night home game against the Buffalo Bills and the Wednesday offering includes some good news when it comes to a few players who have recently missed a lot of playing time.
Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Steelers were wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and running back James Conner (shoulder) and that certainly is welcomed news. Both players are looking to return this coming weekend after missing the team’s last three games with their respective injuries.
Not practicing for the Steelers on Wednesday were tight end Vance McDonald (concussion), running back Jaylen Samuels (groin), inside linebacker Mark Barron (not injury related), guard David DeCastro (not injury related), center Maurkice Pouncey (not injury related) and tackle Alejandro Villanueva (not injury related).
McDonald and Samuels were both injured in the Steelers Sunday win against the Arizona Cardinals. McDonald reportedly remains in concussion protocol. Barron, DeCastro, Pouncey and Villanueva were all seemingly given veteran days off on Wednesday.
