The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Sunday Week 16 road game against the New York Jets and it looks pretty much as expected based on the team having a clean bill of health this week.
The Steelers will have wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and tight end Vance McDonald both back on Sunday against the Jets as both are active. Smith-Schuster has missed the last four games with a knee injury while McDonald missed the Week 15 game with a concussion.
All seven of the Steelers inactive players on Sunday are healthy scratches and that Week 16 list includes, tight end Zach Gentry, safety Marcus Allen, outside linebacker Tuzar Skipper, quarterback Paxton Lynch, tackle Chukwuma Okorafor and cornerback Artie Burns and wide receiver Amara Darboh.
Guard Tom Compton is a notable Sunday inactive for the Jets as he’s the starter on the right side.
