The Steelers came into Sunday touting a defense that was full of ballhawks, but they would face a massive challenge in the form of Cooper Kupp, who was the NFL’s leader in receptions for 3rd down conversions on the year. However, the Steelers not only rose to challenge, but they also held Kupp to zero receptions on the day, and a lot of it had to do with the game plan installed by Keith Butler and Mike Tomlin. And it illustrates just how key talent is to your scheme versatility and confidence to run schemes that can bolster your chances of winning.
