The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Thursday night Week 11 road game against the Cleveland Browns and it looks pretty much as expected following the few transactions made earlier in the day.
Inactive for the Steelers Thursday night after being officially listed as out for the Week 11 game on the team’s Wednesday injury report is running back Benny Snell Jr. (knee). Also sitting out Thursday night due to an injury is outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo, who ended the week listed as questionable with a rib injury.
The other Steelers inactive players for Week 11 are a healthy scratches and they are defensive end L.T. Walton, quarterback Paxton Lynch, tight end Zach Gentry, cornerback Justin Layne and tackle Chukwuma Okorafor.
The Steelers placed fullback Roosevelt Nix and wide receiver Ryan Switzer on the team’s Reserve/Injured list Thursday afternoon. Both players had already been ruled out for the Thursday night game against the Browns on the Wednesday injury report.
Steelers cornerback Joe Haden, who ended the short week listed as questionable on the injury report with an illness, is active as are wide receiver Tevin Jones and outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott, both of whom were added to the 53-man roster Thursday afternoon.
