The Indianapolis Colts have now released what will likely be their final injury report of Week 9 ahead of their Sunday road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Friday offering shows one player listed as out for that contest with one other being doubtful and two as questionable.
Not practicing on Friday for the Colts and ruled out for Sunday’s game on their injury report was wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf). Hilton suffered his injury earlier in the week during a practice and him not playing on Sunday against the Steelers is a huge development.
Colts cornerback Pierre Desir (hamstring) also failed to practice on Friday and he ends the week listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report. He missed the Colts Week 8 game with that hamstring injury and is expected to miss the Sunday game against the Steelers.
Ending the week listed as questionable for the Colts after failing to practice on Friday were defensive end Justin Houston (calf) and starting safety Malik Hooker (knee). Houston and Hooker are both starters for the Colts and would be big losses if either were forced to sit on Sunday.
Not give game status designations by the Colts on Friday were tight end Eric Ebron (ankle), defensive tackle Carl Davis (hamstring), guard Quenton Nelson (hip), defensive tackle Tyquan Lewis (ankle), defensive tackle Denico Autry (neck), cornerback Kenny Moore (knee), defensive end Jabaal Sheard (foot), safety Khari Willis (foot), tackle Anthony Castonzo (not injury related), and safety Clayton Geathers (not injury related). Castonzo and Geathers both rested on Friday while the other eight players practiced fully.
