The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Monday night Week 8 home game against the Miami Dolphins and as expected, it doesn’t include any real surprises.
Inactive for the Steelers Monday night after being officially listed as questionable for the Week 8 game on the Saturday injury report are running back Jaylen Samuels (knee) and rookie inside linebacker Ulysees Gilbert III (back). This will mark the second consecutive game that Samuels has missed with the knee injury that he suffered back in Week 5.
The other Steelers inactive players for Week 8 are a healthy scratches and they are defensive end L.T. Walton, quarterback Paxton Lynch, cornerback Justin Layne, tight end Zach Gentry and tackle Chukwuma Okorafor.
Steelers rookie defensive end Isaiah Buggs is in uniform for the first time this season.
