The Miami Dolphins have released what will likely be their final injury report of week 8 ahead of their Monday night home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Saturday offering shows that two players have been ruled out for that contest with three more ending the week listed as questionable.
after failing to practice all week the Dolphins listed safety Reshad Jones (chest) and center Daniel Kilgore (knee) as out on the team’s Saturday injury report. With Jones missing another game we could see Eric Rowe make another start at safety. Rowe started at safety last week in place of Jones and hadn’t played the position since his days at the University of Utah. With Kilgore out, Evan Boehm is expected to start in his place at center against the Steelers.
After practicing on a limited basis again on Saturday, cornerback Xavien Howard (knee), cornerback Chris Lammons (ankle/toe), and defensive end Avery Moss (ankle) were all listed as questionable by the Dolphins. Fellow cornerback Nik Needham (foot) also ends the week listed as questionable despite practicing fully on Saturday. Needham was added to the Dolphins injury report on Friday after being limited in practice.
Practicing fully on Saturday and not given game status designations by the Dolphins on the injury report were guard Deion Calhoun (illness), linebacker Trent Harris (foot), safety Bobby McCain (shoulder), quarterback Josh Rosen (neck), cornerback Ken Webster (illness), tackle Jesse Davis (elbow), wide receiver Jakeem Grant (hamstring), tackle J’Marcus Webb (shin), and wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip).
