The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Sunday afternoon Week 2 home game against the Seattle Seahawks and as expected, fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee) is on it after officially being listed as out on the Friday injury report with an ankle injury.
While Nix is out Sunday against the Seahawks, the two other Steelers players who ended the week on the team’s injury report, center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) and cornerback Joe Haden (shoulder), are both active and expected to start. Steelers safety Sean Davis, who was inactive in Week 1 with an ankle injury, is also active on Sunday and expected to start.
The rest of the Steelers six inactives for Week 2 are all healthy scratches and the list of players includes quarterback tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, guard Fred Johnson, defensive end Isaiah Buggs, tight end Zach Gentry and cornerback Justin Layne and outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott.
