The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Sunday afternoon Week 3 road game against the San Francisco 49ers and as expected, fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee), outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo and inside linebacker Vince Williams (hamstring) are all on it after officially being listed as out on the Friday injury report.
The Steelers also decided to not dress veteran wide receiver Donte Moncrief for Sunday’s game following his horrible start to the 2019 regular season that has included him dropping five passes.
The rest of the Steelers three inactives for Week 3 are all healthy scratches and the list of players includes quarterback tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, guard Fred Johnson, and defensive end Isaiah Buggs.
Steelers rookies cornerback Justin Layne and tight end Zach Gentry both dress today for the first time this season.
