How about this for NFL drama? Hours after getting released by the Oakland Raiders, Antonio Brown has agreed to terms with the New England Patriots, per multiple reports.
Per Schefter, it’s a one-year deal that includes a $9 million signing bonus.
The Patriots felt like the only team who could reasonably take the drama-filled Brown on. Now we’ll see if they can make it work with him after the Steelers and Raiders were unable to.
Brown is unable to play tomorrow night. Brown can’t sign until after this week considering the league offices are closed for the weekend. But of course, this means AB goes to one of the best teams in football and if there’s anyone who is going to get him on the straight and narrow, it’s Bill Belichick.
