The Pittsburgh Steelers third week of 2019 OTA sessions got underway on Monday and as expected, the team is using the first of their final four allowed practices to build some team unity.
In past years, the Steelers have traveled to Dave & Buster’s and local bowling alleys for their annual OTA team-building session but this year head coach Mike Tomlin has his group away at the local TopGolf establishment.
Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt has already posted some video on his Instagram account from TopGolf in Pittsburgh that you can see below.
As a result of the team being offsite on Monday, players will not be made available to the media. However, a few are likely to have short interviews with the team’s official site to talk about their experience at TopGolf so look for those videos later today on steelers.com.
The Steelers will resume their on-the-field OTA practices on Tuesday, June 4, at the the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and close out the week with practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Steelers 2019 mandatory minicamp will take place June 11-13 and after that the team will be off until training camp gets under in Latrobe in late July. The team is expected to release their 2019 training camp practice schedule sometime during this week.
