The Pittsburgh Steelers 2019 preseason schedule was released on Tuesday and it includes two home games followed by two road games.
The Steelers 2019 preseason will get underway with a home game on Friday, Aug. 9 at 7:30 p.m. against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are now coached by Bruce Arians, the team’s former offensive coordinator.
The Steelers second preseason game of 2019 will also be at home at Heinz Field and against the Kansas City Chiefs, who beat Pittsburgh 42-37 last season in Week 2. That game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The Steelers final two preseason games of 2019 will be on the road against the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers, respectively.
The game against the Titans is scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at 8 p.m. and the game will be televised on NBC. The team’s 2019 preseason finale against the Panthers is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. and it will mark the 17th consecutive year the two teams have closed out a preseason against each other.
As usual, KDKA-TV will locally televise the Steelers games against the Buccaneers, Chiefs and Panthers.
With these dates now in place, it’s a good bet that the Steelers will report to Latrobe for their 2019 training camp at Saint Vincent College on Thursday, July 25. The team will release their official training camp schedule at a later date, however.
