Season 7, Episode 87 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I recap some of the early free agency news around the league that has taken place so far during the legal tampering period.
We go over a few signings and discuss if the Cleveland Browns made the right decision in not placing the franchise tag on wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are being linked heavily to Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick as a potential target so we talk more about him in addition to going over a short list of bargain free agents that I put together on Tuesday.
David and I wonder if the Steelers will get a few more of their own soon-to-be unrestricted free agents re-signed by Thursday evening and talk briefly about one of their former players who was released by the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday.
The pro day circuit is now underway and we tell you where some Steelers personnel was spotted on Wednesday. With the annual combine now over, David and I talk a little more about the position groups that impressed and that leads to us talking some about two polarizing prospects in this year’s class.
We end the show by going over the Steelers salary cap situation ahead of the start of the 2017 league year.
