The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens have both released their lists of inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at Heinz Field and both teams will be without the services of at least one staring player due to injuries.
On Friday, the Steelers listed both tight end Ladarius Green (concussion) and wide receiver Sammie Coates (hamstring) as doubtful and ultimately both landed on Sunday’s inactive list. Defensive end Stephon Tuitt (knee) is also inactive after ending the week listed as questionable.
The healthy scratches for Sunday for the Steelers are quarterback Zach Mettenberger, tackle Brian Mihalik, linebacker Jarvis Jones and cornerback Justin Gilbert. Gilbert, however, missed two practices this past week with an illness.
Rookie wide receiver Demarcus Ayers is dressed for the first time this season. Additionally, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey and running back DeAngelo Williams are both active. Both players haven’t played since Week 9.
