The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals have both released their lists of inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at Paul Brown Stadium.
On Friday, the Steelers ruled out wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot) and safety Shamarko Thomas (concussion) and those two players head the team’s Week 15 inactive list for a second consecutive time. Heyward-Bey has been out since Week 9 while Thomas will miss his fourth game in the last five weeks.
The big news for the Steelers on Sunday is that defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and guard Ramon Foster are both active. Hargrave and Foster both missed the game last Sunday with their injuries. Guard B.J. Finney, who started in place of Foster last Sunday, is also active for the game against the Bengals despite starting the week in concussion protocol. Running back DeAngelo Williams won’t return this week after all even though he practiced fully on Friday and ended the week off the injury report.
The Steelers Week 15 inactive list includes several healthy scratches on Sunday that includes quarterback Zach Mettenberger, running back Daryl Richardson, tackle Brian Mihalik, and wide receiver Demarcus Ayers
For the Bengals, wide receiver A.J. Green is inactive as expected.
