The Pittsburgh Steelers made one notable addition to their injury report on Saturday as kicker Chris Boswell was added Saturday with an abdomen injury and is listed as questionable.
Boswell more than likely injured himself on Friday and it will now be interesting to see if the Steelers wind up adding another kicker to the roster by 4:00 p.m. EST on Saturday.
Boswell has made 12 of his 16 total field goal attempts so far this season and all 26 of his extra point attempts.
The Rice product was originally signed last season ahead of the team’s Week 5 game against the San Diego Chargers.
Entering Saturday the Steelers only had two players listed on their injury report as wide receiver Darrius-Heyward-Bey (foot) and running back DeAngelo Williams (knee) were both ruled out on Friday for Sunday’s home game against the New York Giants.
Punter Jordan Berry kicked off twice during a 2015 preseason game against the Buffalo Bills after former kicker Garrett Hartley injured his hamstring.
