Even though he was added to the injury report on Saturday as questionable with an abdomen injury, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell is now expected to play Sunday in the team’s home game against the New York Giants.
According to a Sunday morning report by Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Boswell has apparently overcame his recent abdominal issue.
With Boswell ailing on Saturday, the Steelers quickly signed veteran free agent kicker Randy Bullock to their 53-man roster in case of an emergency. It will now be interesting to see if Bullock winds up being one of the Steelers seven inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff.
