The New York Giants won’t have four players for their Sunday road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to injuries.
On Friday, the Giants officially ruled out safety Nat Berhe (concussion), linebacker Mark Herzlich (concussion) defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa (knee) and guard Justin Pugh (knee) on their final injury report of the week.
With Berhe out, rookie safety Andrew Adams will start opposite Landon Collins against the Steelers. With Pugh now set to miss another game, Adam Gettis is once again expected to start in his place at left guard.
Ending the week listed as questionable for the Giants are center Brett Jones (calf) and tackle Marshall Newhouse (knee). Even if both players ultimately dress Sunday against the Steelers, there’s a good chance they’ll be used as backups.
If Newhouse doesn’t start Sunday against the Steelers, Bobby Hart will likely get the nod once again at right tackle. Both Jones and Newhouse were listed by the Giants as being limited on Friday.
After practicing fully on Friday, the Giants removed wide receiver Dwayne Harris (wrist) from their injury report.
