The Buffalo Bills will host the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming Sunday and their first injury report of Week 14 includes eight players.
Sitting out Wednesday’s practice for the Bills were linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (not injury related), tackle Cordy Glenn (back), linebacker Lerentee McCray (concussion) and wide receiver wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot). At this point, it sounds like McCray is the only one of those four players who might ultimately sit out Sunday.
Watkins has been plagued by foot injuries all season long and has been limited the last two weeks he’s played. Even if he does play Sunday, which seems likely, he won’t be an every-down receiver.
Limited on Wednesday for the Bills were tight end Charles Clay (knee), cornerback Ronald Darby (concussion) and wide receiver Robert Woods (knee). It’s worth noting that Woods has missed Buffalo’s last two games with his knee injury and Darby sat out last Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor (groin) is listed as practicing fully on Wednesday. Taylor has been battling a groin injury for several weeks.
The Bills enter Sunday’s game against the Steelers with a 6-6 record and losers of four of their last six games. They are 3-2 in homes games entering Week 14.
