Pittsburgh Steelers’ safety Shamarko Thomas has been ruled out for the remainder of today’s game with a groin injury, the team announced moments ago.
He joins Steven Johnson as players who have been ruled out today. Johnson injured his ankle covering a kick and was quickly ruled out. Both are important special teamers while Thomas had saw snaps on defense today before getting injured.
It seems unlikely either player will be able to return for next Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
